Doesn't work on 64bit computers?

Lucas Meissner 12 years ago updated by Mark Smith 10 years ago 11
I tried it on a 32bit Virtual Machine and it worked, but on my Windows 7 64 bit computer and it didn't work (Infinite "Connecting")
Please add support for 64bit computers...
If this is not the problem please tell me why I can't connect :/

I sent you an email about this. I know the game runs on both 32 and 64 bit systems.

Hello,

Mark, please, please send me the same email. I've W7Pro 64-bit, and I've same symptoms as this thread said: http://crashtastic.userecho.com/topic/123506-i-bought-your-game-but-every-time-i-try-to-start-it-i-see-the-updater-loginsee-white-windowsee-a-second-of-the-loading-screen-then-the-window-closes/

Some days ago game just hung after typing login info at "Loading...", but it runs Ok at the same time (so it's not server problem) on two XP units.

+1

Can you look in the host-file (C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\host), and remove any reference to  api.crashtastic.com , and try logging in again?

Worked like a charm, thank you!

Please make a video tutorial on this or just release it for 64bit

Can you describe the problem you are having? The problem described above shouldn't be an issue any longer.

I have a Different problem on my 64bit computer, when I run it i get a text file that reads:

Traceback (most recent call last):

  File "updater.py", line 28, in <module>

File "os.pyo", line 423, in __getitem__

KeyError: 'APPDATA'

I´ve another problem:

When I try to start crashtastic on my win8 64 bit, nothing happens, it doesn´t matter which compatibility mode I use :(

I have solved the problem by simply restarting the pc!

The game rocks!

I try to login in with my account on my Win7 Home Premium 64 bit and it just says 'Connecting...' all of the time, can i please het some help

i cant get it to run properly what happens is it logs me in and as soon as it starts to load it closes itself down
