Can only place rocket in the same position as a block when you place the rocket first

I noticed that you can place a rocket, then place a building block on the same node face as a rocket. At first this seemed to be a bug (the rocket penetrates the block), but I'd recommend keeping it and incorporating it somehow into the gameplay, because you end up with breakaway rockets that shoot off like missiles... pretty fun. Whatever piece was connected at the same node face as the rocket simple breaks away from the rest of your vehicle as soon as you click "Go!"... obviously to be useful it would need to be able to be triggered instead. This way you could have vehicle parts that break away.

One thing that is borked here though is that while you can do this if you place the rocket first, if you place the block first you can't place the rocket inside of it in the same way. So to do it you have to remove the block, place the rocket, replace the block.
So, what you're suggesting is having that 'breakaway' mechanic incorporated with a new piece, and the collision issue fixed? I'd like something like that! You could designate rockets to the number keys, activate them when needed, and the pieces connected by a breakaway could fly off with the rocket.
