Text missing from buttons

Works up until I start a level. After that, most of the menus and things don't have text on the buttons. Kind of makes it impossible to play.

This game looks like it has lots of potential, but is definitely worth the alpha label ;p Tell me what you need to debug this.

I'm having the same problem. Is it possible to get a screenshot of what the buttons should be? I am on a 32x windows XP, btw.
