Different in-game cameras
What if you had an option to switch between the standard orbiting camera, a first-person camera (attached to the ragdoll) and a set camera created in the editor? Like you could post a little transparent camera somewhere on your vehicle, and if you hit, say, Tab, it'd rotate through these different cameras. I think it'd add more of a realistic/personal feel to driving vehicles...
Settings menu requirements for taking effect are inconsistent (by design, but still)
As a solution, I would make the "Apply" button grayed out until the user changes a setting that *requires* the use of the Apply button. Then you'd make the Apply button light up to look how it does currently. Or an even more simple way would be to have an asterisk pop-up next to the Apply button when a setting that requires it is changed.
In fact, I'd almost say you're better off just forcing the Apply button to be used for any of the settings to take effect, even if right now they take effect immediately. A user might want to change to fullscreen and set the resolution simultaneously. Also a user might be inclined to go through multiple "Graphics Quality" settings in a row to get to the highest or lowest one in the same way that a user might do for resolution, at which point the instantaneous change at each level is not really useful.
Show robot/vehicle size in sandbox level editor
It would be good for there to be a ghost of the robot in the level editor to compare to the size of the track.
I sometimes create a track and when i play it it is to small to fit my vehicle on.
Go Button doesn't work on 0.4.6b
I've replied to a comment on this but the latest update still hasn't fixed the problem with the Go! button i.e when you click/spam it 50000 times nothing happens. I am running this on a windows 7 32bit pc and i tried 1024x798 and my native one 1440x900 on fullscreen and not and im wondering if it's just a major coding bug or if the hit box is somewhere else. I am really getting depressed on this cos i bought this 1 week ago for £6.44 and i feel like it's a waste of money (i understand it's in Alpha its just a feeling) and i only got to play this 3 times. For the next update i think Mark Smith should take this as #1 priority to fix this problem.

Thanks for reading even though it's long (i tried to give as much detail and info as possible for a 13 yr old)
I really want to fix this issue. A few people have reported it, but I am having a devil of a time reproducing it. Couple of follow-up questions.
You are on Windows? Does this always happen for you? Does it only happen on specific designs? How many pieces are the designs?
Let's try and nail this one once and for all!
Head on Collision Mutliplayer
It would be an amazing idea for the level "Head On Collision" to be multiplayer. Like, 1 minute to build a car, and first person who hits the ground first loses :D
Progress Status
As there are new confirmed features such as rotator or piston, I think it could be a good idea to post somewhere a "Progress Status" with a percentage showing more or less the development status for some concrete feature. As there are some ideas that are "secret", the progress bars will be shown only for the public features anounced such as "Piston Status: 50% (Buggy but Working)", "Linux Version: 30% (Prepared but something missing)" or "Greenlight Status: 70% (Some more votes needed)" (I don't know if there's a way to know the Greenlight Status)
Hotseat + helicopter
Why not?
Friend mode would mean that both players take turns building models, and then try them out side by side, in races, tasks or head-on collisions.
Darn them to Heck would be head-on collision only, turn based and with match after every 2 turns. I can just imagine me smashing my friends car to pieces, and afterwards him upgrading his, so that he makes it even, and so till we run out of beer and snacks.
Turn based, of course.
Oh, and one that would be single player mission - Helicopter level. Target jump level, just with rule that robot can't hit ground in the end - that would force player to build helicopter that can land safely. Why not?
Can only place rocket in the same position as a block when you place the rocket first
One thing that is borked here though is that while you can do this if you place the rocket first, if you place the block first you can't place the rocket inside of it in the same way. So to do it you have to remove the block, place the rocket, replace the block.
